the missing labia is not even the worst part of lichen sclerosis. It is honestly the white patchy dry skin, broken and open leaions, extreme constant 24 seven that isn’t ever relieved, even when scratching, and the increase risk of cancer. The missing labia happened because my condition was left untreated for 25 years due to misdiagnosis and no diagnosis. The labia build up so much scar tissue that it reabsorbed into the surrounding skin. INSANITY! If youre curious to get a diagnosis ask for a vulva biopsy to confirm!
