I remember sitting in the future nursery, crying so hard when our consultants told us the feedback they got from some birth moms that were not choosing our family. Then our consultant said this, “don’t change who you are!!! This is you & a birth mom is going to love you for it & choose you bc of those things!” And they were right! Clementine’s birth mom had no idea what the other bm’s had said & when she told us one of the many reasons she had chosen us, i couldn’t help but tear up 🥹. A birth mom will choose you bc they love you, not what they want you to change or be. And she was right, we are very much alike & how easily we’ve bonded 🩷
